The hospital is very busy with a multitude of duties and responsibilities, so you will probably be working very hard in most areas! You may work in a variety of medical departments, where you can either assist or shadow the staff members, depending on your level of experience.

Work at the Hospital is from 20-30 hours per week. Volunteers are accommodated in the local Tanzanian host family with local food three times a day. You might be asked to share a room with another volunteer. So please be flexible with it.

On the first day of the project, you will meet a project coordinator, who will explain your role as a volunteer.
